The IMO (International Maritime Organisation) release new dangerous goods regulations (The IMDG Code, or International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code) for the carriage of dangerous goods by sea on an bi-annual basis. Current version is the IMDG code edition 2024. (Mandatory from 1 January 2026, can be applied on a voluntary basis from 1 January 2025)
